YWCA Metro St. Louis Young Ambassadors - young women making a mark.

white young ambassadors logoYoung Ambassadors is a volunteer group of over 20 young professional women with a mission of "building a community of young professionals that supports YWCA Metro St. Louis' mission of eliminating racism and empowering women, while also providing members with opportunities for networking and mentorship."

Members foster a greater understanding of YWCA programs and services among the young adult population in the St. Louis metropolitan area, and the recruitment of fellow young people for participation in YWCA events and programs. Each young woman acts as an ambassador to the community and works to support the YWCA in order to attain a common vision to promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people.

In addition to aiding YWCA in its mission through ambassadorship, members have opportunities for leadership development, social networking, mentoring, and personal and professional growth. YA committee objects include empowering young women through leadership, service, and skills-building; enhancing awareness and support of YWCA in the young adult population of St. Louis; and increasing support of YWCA's mission.
